Catherine Cabral, daughter of a Brazilian father and a French mother, was born in Lisbon, and graduated in Interior Architecture and Decorative Arts from the Escola Superior de Artes Decorativas - Ricardo Espírito Santo Silva Foundation. In 2000 she defended her thesis "The Second Empire in the Third Millenium", and then did an internship in Paris, her second city.
Catherine's design and decorating is influenced by her two cultures, French and Brazilian. With great insight and aesthetic sensitivity, she combines simple shapes, strong lines and raw materials (typical of Niemeyer's modernist architecture), with French classicism, the source of all trends. Catherine also travels around the world for further inspiration.
After working for other decorating studios, Catherine founded her own design studio: Catherine Cabral - Interior Architecture and Decorating.
